In my experience, fr blocking out external noise, sound isolation EARphones are fr superior t noise cancellation , thi bcaue of thir design nd the wy in whh thy work. Some people my specifically wnt cans but great sound quality n be found in earphones too, this shouldn't be overlooked, I strongly recommend Shure's se420's for sound isolation/blocking out background noise n that case. These cans ar NOT made for mixing, mixing wth noise cancellation feature wouldn't b good idea bus f the white noise nd so that th nly comment Im gong t make but that..... And s ont the review: Noise cancellation: When putting n the withut vn enabling the noise cancellation feature, external sounds re dfntly dampened. With music playing, the are of ourse ven better. However, the white noise created to block ut thi external sound an b distracting when listening t ur music, esilly acoustic/classical but alo in breakdowns f metal/DnB. It obviousl omes dwn to the environment that ur gng t be uing these cans in and wht kindof music yur going to be listening to. I found the uncomfortable after n hour baus of ths but I hv n problems wth the design r padding of the cans themselves, the r vr comfortable in thi sense. Sound: The sound quality ver good nd evident from th frt listen. I mut admit, I bought thee bus of thr 'extra large speaker drivers for super deep bass' nd th bass dfntely stands out, being punchier in the mix. This culd be good thing if u lke bass but bad thing if you wnt 100% true original sound . I found th bass t crack/clip n the left ear piece t round 60% volume, I returned thse cans and gt a replacement and hd the ame problem whih leads m to think t manufacturing problem. This crackle subtle and t th casual listener mabe nt even noticeable but I analyse music and ths bugged th hell out of me. The verll frequency response is pretty good, ts fairly well balanced but th bass s definitl emphasized. cheap beats headphones r better headphones out there On the move: The right ear piece (where you put th batteries) wobbles when walking and extremely annoying. A major flaw I found wth bth pairs I owned and returned. Box/Packaging/Carry case; Cant sa anthing bad abut this, the box very nice with sections for all our stuff and the carry case robust nd huld kee your safe and secure when on th move. The headphones conveniently fold u t fit n th carry case making them extremely portable, fr cans anyway. OVERALL: There r better headphones out there, ure thse ar good but th don't justify the price tag bcu ther ar to mn flaws with them. For a lower price thre r jut a good f not bettr headphones ut there, ou just hve to d our homework nd research. Id give thm .
