Subliminal Messaging Cds - Impact Of Reverse Speech On The Subconscious.

Audio Subliminal Messages Subliminal Messages are ones that are intended to reach a person's subconscious directly. This they do so by bypassing the alert, conscious mind (subliminally), through either audio or visual mechanisms. When used as a therapy, subliminal messages are communicated to the subconscious with the objective of resolving whatever negativity exists in an individual's system - such as their self-esteem, their ability to withstand criticism, their performance in bed, or whatever. (Readers interested in reading more on subliminal messages may surf my blog.) The present method of administering audio subliminal messages is through MP3 files loaded in CDs, which can be played through any compatible CD-player, with stereo headphones attached to the ears. One CD usually contains recording of messages focusing on any one specific area that the user wants to improve upon, so one can simply browse through the catalog and pick any of one's choice. In the earlier days, these recordings were plain-vanilla human voices speaking the messages at a soft, low volume, to the tune of beautiful and soothing background music. With the latest advances in technology, however, newer techniques such as binaural beats, reverse speech, and stereo confusion have been incorporated in the recordings. What Is Reverse Speech It was in 1996 that Australian David John Oates came out with the book - "Reverse Speech: Voices of the Unconscious". The book detailed a new path-breaking work undertaken by its author on deciphering the hidden messages that a person - any person - sends out whenever they open their mouth to speak. According to David Oates, every human being communicates at two levels. The first is the outward, superficial level which is in the form of the audible sound that they make when they begin moving their jaws. The statements uttered at this outward level are an outcome of the speaker's conscious mind proactively processing its thoughts. There may be selective filtering of thoughts at this level, as the speaker may deliberately and "consciously" camouflage all that they are thinking. However, try as they might, human beings are unable to fully camouflage their very basal thoughts. So while they are mouthing their nicely-filtered statements, their hidden thoughts too leak out as a component of the same statements. This component forms the second level of communication. The human ear is unable to detect this component, as it is at a subliminal level. The only way to discover this second level of communication, according to Mr. Oates, is to record the audible speech, and play back the tape in reverse direction. Laced in the nonsensical gobbledygook are found perfectly intelligent statements, coming from the same speaker! Experiments conducted by Mr. Oates reveal that when a person speaks, the thought most dominant in their mind at that moment - the thought that is straining against the walls of the conscious, aching to break out in the open, yet hemmed in by the alert, self-defending conscious mind of the speaker - is the one that invariably blurts out along with the spoken statement. It does so in a conceited manner, as if not to offend its owner. This thought may not even be relevant to the audible statement at all. For example, while the speaker may be innocently commenting on the weather, if their speech is recorded at that moment and run in the reverse, the subliminal thought that might pop up could be a guilt that their subconscious is unable to suppress and get over with! When David Oates' book was released in 1996, it was immediately lapped up as yet another New Age discovery. The specter of ordinary conversation not remaining safe any longer loomed upon an awed society. People who had lots to hide began contemplating long bouts of silence, lest their voices should be taped by rivals lurking in the shadows! However, human tendency to pooh-pooh anything out-of-the-ordinary prevailed, and skepticism and controversy around the topic ensured that interest in reverse speech among the common public died down after some time. Incorporating Reverse Speech In Subliminal Messages Yet, the concept of Reverse Speech attracted the attention of people in the Subliminal Messaging CD industry. David Oates stopped at recording speeches of people and playing them back in reverse to reveal their subliminal thoughts. Experts in Subliminal Messaging took this thread further, and incorporated reverse speech in their soundtrack. What the experts have done is to record a set of positive, self-affirming messages in normal human voice (but recorded at low volume), play it in reverse, then record this _reverse_ playback again. The final output is a recording of the positive messages, but spoken in reverse! This piece is embedded in the soundtrack that goes in the CD. Their logic in doing so is a natural extension of David Oates' hypothesis, as well as the knowledge that we now have of the working of the subconscious mind. Usually this reverse speech portion is played out with a background of binaural beats, and after about twenty minutes of straight-forward subliminal messaging has already been beamed. By the time the reverse messages portion begins playing, the mind of the listener is already stabilized in a meditative state, and is therefore receptive of all incoming signals coming from the two earphones. And when the already-low-volume, totally unintelligible reverse-speech soundtrack begins playing, the conscious component of the mind simply ignores it, leaving the door wide open for the positive, self-affirmatory messages to reach the subconscious. When they do, the subconscious simply flips the reversed-messages backwards, and hears and understands them in toto. Once understood, the subconscious goes to work on them, and the magic of positive self-transformation begins! The whole purpose behind having reverse speech as part of the Subliminal Message soundtrack is to prevent a possibly jaded and cynical conscious to block positive messages from reaching the subconscious. Final Word Yes, it would be quite appropriate to say that the Subliminal Messaging CD industry has come a long way. There are several players in the market - some of them offer only reversely recorded messages, others offer a combination of all advance techniques. (I have been using CDs of this site, and they have a combination of all the latest techniques known to man.) If you have a personal issue that you have been struggling with, my advice is to try these subliminal messages - they are the nutrition that your soul truly needs.
